Third and Fourth Class enjoyed their second BLAST session with artist Sarah Lundy, this time exploring the theme of blooms and plant life. The children began by creating beautiful oak leaf rubbings, noticing the patterns and textures in the leaves. They then examined zoomed‑in images of plants, cut out the shapes they found most interesting, and used them to design a vibrant plant collage. To finish, each pupil pressed a leaf into clay to create a stamped impression, capturing the delicate details of nature in a new medium. It was another hands‑on, creative day inspired by the natural world.
