Today we had our first shared education session. The children from Taunagh N.S. joined us for yard time. Then we studied a Hallowe’en poem together. The children responded artistically to this poem and shared their artwork with the class and the completed a kahoot together. We look forward to many more shared education opportunities through the coming year.

We joined together again today to participate in science week activities. The children experimented with cocktail sticks and marshmallows to explore trusses. We joined a webinar in which we “met the scientist” who is an expert on venomous snakes. Finally, the children worked in pairs to design, build and test their home-made catapults.

Our dress rehearsal with a very special audience.

As part of our Shared Education programme, we took part in an animation workshop with Taunagh NS. The children had great fun creating their own mini stop‑motion movies using monsters, props and plenty of imagination. It was a brilliant creative experience and everyone thoroughly enjoyed bringing their characters to life.
