Mindfulness - Wellbeing Wednesday - Shared Education

As part of our Shared Education partnership with our friends from Taunagh National School, we enjoyed Day 1 of our Wellbeing Days today. Pupils from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Class took part in our mindful station, where they explored a range of calming techniques using breathing balls, sound bells and gentle belly breathing. The children created “emotion jars” to see how their feelings settled as their breathing slowed, listened to a story about emotions, and finished by drawing their emotions as characters. It was a thoughtful, creative and engaging start to our wellbeing programme, and we’re looking forward to Day 2.
