Our 3rd and 4th Class pupils have been exploring the world of lines and angles, learning to identify parallel, perpendicular, horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines, as well as right, acute and obtuse angles. Taking advantage of the dry weather earlier this week, we brought our learning outdoors, where the children created their own lines and angles and then went on a hunt around the school grounds to spot real-life examples. It was a brilliant blend of active learning, teamwork and mathematical discovery.
