Third and Fourth Class were busy working on the topic of money. The children were given a budget and chose an age group to shop for, before setting out to get the best value for money possible. Using the Smyths Toys catalogue, they cut out pictures and prices of suitable toys and created their own shopping boards. Each group then presented their purchases to the class, explaining how they stayed within budget and why they chose each item. It was a fun and practical way to build real‑life budgeting skills.
