Science Week Day 2 - Shared Education
12th Nov 2025
Today we joined Taunagh NS for Shared Education and carried out a fun science experiment. We blew up balloons, placed a table on top, and stood on it—managing a record of 13 pupils before a balloon finally popped! The experiment showed how air inside the balloons spreads the weight evenly, allowing them to hold up something much heavier than you’d expect.
We also enjoyed a fun science quiz and joined a Zoom session to learn about how a venomous snake bite affects the body. The children were fascinated to discover how venom travels through the bloodstream and impacts different organs, showing the real‑life importance of science in understanding nature.
Day two of Science week ended with magnetic mazes. The children drew a maze and then had to use a magnetic to guide a paperclip through the maze!
