Curious Minds
Fifth and sixth class explored the circulatory system. The designed and tested out experiments to explore the difference between the speed of the flow of blood through a health and a clogged artery.
The senior class explored the topic of forces in science. Inspired by the helicopters falling from the sycamore trees at this time of year, they made their own spinners, investigating air resistance.
For science week, fifth and sixth class completed some fun science experiment. Here they are exploring how concentric domes are formed.
Today young scientists from 5th and 6th class presented their chosen experiments to the class.
For Engineer's Week we enjoyed a fun stations challenge, with all the questions based on engineering. We also learned about levers and experimented with our own fulcrums, beams and forces. We graphic our results.
